another late night photo, i had been up til all hours wrapping my photos in plastic pockets for the market and hadn't taken anything of worth. lisa obliged! she was holding an umbrella which she seemed to think was of paramount importance.

waterford crystal is up for sale, i tried to get permission to get into the grounds and photograph it but was refused. i stopped the other day to take some photos and this is the results so far. i will go back and get as many aspects of it as i can. for a building which was once one of the most important buildings in the town the for sale sign is now talked about more

it was very late in the day. i had my sister and cousin down as well as having to work. this is a picture of my housemates lamp on her bedside locker. it wasn't what i was trying to achieve but i nearly prefer this, i like the light shining through the red fabric.

Myself and my friend Carol had a stall at this new market it Waterford. I sold 3 images... to strangers! not to friends! was delighted

i went to the camera club last week and they asked me did i shoot RAW. I hung my head in shame. no. so today i tried it. i still don't understand it. i know it gives more flexibility but i do need to learn more about it. this is my first go at it. my favourite pic so far. love it

i cross processed this in photoshop to really enhance the colours. i love the composition, using the rule of thirds without even thinking about it. first step to becoming a full fledged photographer!

i really like the dept of field on this, its something ive been playing with lately. i seem to be able to get it right on smaller items but not on larger ones like people for instance!

i hadn't used my camera all day and was out for the night, this is taken on my phone. it might be a snap shot but i really like the muted colours. tara did not win anything in the raffle

totally busy... and lazy last night so i played around with long exposure and doctored it in photoshop. it's nothing special but i like the colours

this is my friend oisín sitting on a post box beside my friend moe's house. this photo is more about oisín than taking a good photo, although it is a good photo too. he is chuffed to be on that postbox. messer!

while the boys played around with a ball, i played around with shutter speed! i had spent a half hour trying to create bukah on a portrait of my friend moe, but to no avail. i experimented with self portraiture in the glasses but this one caught my eye when going through the results of the day.

a lone shoe, in the middle of my sitting room, i played around with exposure and dept of field but this is my favourite. i like the starkness of the image, almost washed out. makes the viewer wonder who's shoe is it

i was leaving work (i work in an industrial estate) and this was smashed outside the door to waterford wedgewood, slightly symbolic i think.

i shadowed a studio photographer today so i was mainly just sitting and watching. this was a lamp i saw in the corner, thought it was interesting enough. poorest photograph so far

a fun way to start the project, this was taken on the way to wicklow from waterford. imagine working in this every day. i imagine it would get pretty depressing!
