Niamh & Patrick - Tower Hotel Waterford Wedding Photography

When I first met Niamh we got on like a house on fire, I was in her house for a good 2 hours, just chatting and not just about her wedding. It quickly became apparent that her children where the centre of her universe and they where going to play a big part of her wedding day. (obviously Patrick did too but I was yet to meet him). It was as simple as that, after that first meeting Niamh booked me and that was that.

I met her again a couple of weeks before the wedding and she made it crystal clear she didn't want to go far (or for too long) to get her wedding photos done so we decided to make use of the beautiful People's Park, Waterford, just 5 minutes walk from her reception venue of the Tower Hotel, Waterford for their photos.

The day dawned and of course.... it was raining. Not that heavy rain that you just can't do anything about but that misty, makes your hair go frizzy kinda rain. But it was on with the show, Niamh glided down the aisle, preceded by her 3 sons, her sister and her niece, on the arm of her local legend mother, Ali McLoughlin, to marry the handsome Patrick (I finally met him on the morning of the wedding).

Lots of laughs ensued as we attempted to take natural looking, non posed pictures in the park without getting wet (or frizzy hair). It was then a quick (quicker walking) jaunt in the car to the Tower to dance the night away.
