Love Lomo Update

so the exhibition opened on Tuesday last with great praise (from my friends at least, I haven't read any reviews or anything) but by all accounts the wine was flowing, the weather was good and people had to stand in the street as the venue was too packed, that indicates a winner for me. Well done to all involved.

This morning I woke to find a package had been delivered! Who doesn't love post? It was the limited edition 'love lomo' book made by Baby Beef. It's so cool. Below are some pictures for your entertainment.

Gracie's Buns and Cakes

Had a quiet enough week, mainly down to the fact that I had Scarlet Fever. Had a great weekend celebrating St. Patrick's Day and the market at Central Hall was a huge success for all involved.

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing Wedding Cakes for Gracie's Buns and Cakes, they looked delicious but unfortunately these are just dummy cakes! Fear not though Grace makes cakes to order and believe me they are delicious. Below is just a sample of this woman's handy work.

Grace will be showing at the Horetown House Wedding Fair at the end of April, be sure to pay her a visit if you are there, tell her I sent you.

Central Hall Art Fair - St. Patrick's Day

Really looking forward to the Art Fair in the Central Hall this weekend. I am putting in some smaller stuff this time. Some 6"x4" framed prints. Below is one of my favourites.

As well as this, I have started working on a new project. It involves toy soldiers, canvas and a lot of spray paint. Haven't decided what to call them yet. Suggestions please...

Gallwey's Chocolate Cafe

I've been doing a lot of corporate work lately. One of my favourite jobs was Gallwey's Chocolate Cafe. This cafe is situated in the heart of the Viking Triangle on Henrietta St in Waterford City. Kevin and Laura are so welcoming and Laura makes the most amazing sandwiches known to man. Don't get me started about their hot chocolates and their mochas.

Their food is so good that while I was working on their photos my other half had to nip in and try their Vanilla Slice, based on the photos alone. If you're around the area pop in and say hello.
Tell them I sent you :)
