Rachel & Dave's Brooklodge, Wicklow, Wedding Photographer Ireland

Rachel & Dave are very good friends of mine and when they asked me to photograph their wedding I was thrilled! Rachel is my kinda gal when it comes to wedding planning and nothing was forgotten about. She handmade her own bouquet and her bridesmaid's too. She dried the flowers to be thrown as confetti and made the post box for the cards and gifts. (to name but a few things) Not forgetting Dave who tried his hand at cake baking, made all the signs you'll see dotted around the venue.

Rachel & Dave met at the Bluegrass festival in Dunmore East, almost 10 years later Dave popped the question during a surprise trip to Paris. Dave had been living in London whilst Rachel was at home in Waterford. They flew back and forth to each other and it was during one of Rachel's longest trips over that Dave surprised her with a trip to Paris. He proposed with a Care Bear ring (Rachel's favourite) and whisked her away to Antwerp to ring shop. (I know!!!)

Rachel had spent quite a while dreaming of her dream wedding so when it came to the planning she knew exactly what she wanted. They wasted no time booking Brooklodge Hotel, McCreddin Village where they had a humanist ceremony in the chapel and partied the night away in Brook Hall a short stroll away.

Enough from me, I'll let the photos tell you the story of the day x
