Deirdre & Danny, Granville Hotel Waterford, The Rising Sun, Mullinavat, Kilkenny, Wedding Photography

Deirdre and Danny are a fun young couple from Kilkenny and Waterford respectively. This was my first Christian ceremony and I was very excited. I had done photos for their Pastor Clay and his family a few weeks beforehand so I was given the low down in advance. What struck me about the ceremony was that their was a whole lot of love in the room and a whole lot of singing, it was beautiful. Seeing as it was December, Winterval, the Christmas festival, was in full swing in Waterford City so we took advantage of the Carousel in the middle of the City. From there we visited the guys' favourite coffee shop Portico (best coffee in town) for a few fun shots with their bridal party. As the dark descended we made our way to The Rising Sun in Mullinavat for the rest of the party. The guys carried a coffee theme throughout the whole wedding with the tables decorated with coffee beans and the wedding stationery featuring coffee stains. Oh did I mention that they had the photo booth too?

I'll let the photos show the whole story.

Maeve & Michael, St. Paul's Church & Granville Hotel Waterford Wedding Photography

Maeve and Michael where married in October 2013 in St Paul's Church, Waterford. Michael loves the outdoors so they really wanted to get their photos taken in the city but with a lot of greenery. Mount Sion B&B is just across the bridge and about 5 minutes from the Granville (on a good traffic day) so it was ideal for what we wanted to achieve. We had the option to use the house but thankfully the weather was good enough to use the beautiful grounds. After the portraits we headed for the Granville hotel where the couple and their friends had a great night, eating and drinking, singing and dancing.
